Tenant list. Search by name or ID number. Tenant Vetting is top right.

Add a tenant

Tap New Tenant. The form has six parts:

  1. Personal details: ID type, ID number, first name, surname.
  2. Contact details: email and phone. The phone is used for SMS reminders.
  3. Address: search and pick, or type it in.
  4. Employer details: company name and phone.
  5. Next of kin: full name and phone.
  6. Portal passkey: the tenant's login for their side of Rentplug, where they log service requests and generate letters. Give it to them privately.

Tap Submit, then create a lease contract (module five).

  1. Enter your vetting service credentials (member key and password from your credit-check account).
  2. Enter the applicant's ID number, name and address.
  3. Add the enquirer contact name and enquiry reason, then tap Run Vetting Check.
  4. If you approve, register the tenant, pick a vacant unit and create the contract.
